Fuzzy logic direct torque control of induction motor for photovoltaic water pumping system

This study presents a fuzzy logic direct torque control for induction motor to be used in photovoltaic (PV) water pumping system. The system is intended less expensive and simple while maximizing PV array power utilization. For this purpose, smart technology based on controller (FLC) has been implemented track the maximum which successfully solar systems under different irradiance levels. Next, alleviate disadvantages of standard DTC, we chose (FDTC) motors driving centrifugal pump. Furthermore, includes usage IP with antiwindup slide mode speed (SMC) instead traditional proportional-integral controller. Finally, (IM) optimized an optimum order maximize pump’s hydraulic parameters. FDTC, its SMC outperforms (PVPS) terms dynamic performance robustness. To develop full simulation model proposed PVPS configuration various climate conditions, MATLAB environment associated Simulink are used.
